Anaya took in Edge's appearance, her eyes looking each part of him. The green colored shirt contrasted with his red hair- the very same thing she had done with her dress. They had matched, and it made Anaya a bit happy.
When she heard him speak to her, her eyes lit up and it took her a moment to comprehend what he had asked of her to do. "Okay." she said quietly as she turned around a little slowly. With her back facing Edge, Anaya could look into the mirror of the bathroom- seeing as she left the door open before slipping out. She looked very unlike herself.
The strapless dress left her shoulders bare and vulnerable and the hem of the bottom of the dress came down to her lower mid-thigh. It was something she would almost never wear, but it was the only dress she thought she looked somewhat good in.
She nibbled on her lip before pulling her gaze from the mirror and glanced over to shoulder to look at Edge.
-
"Sure I don't mind if he comes," she said. She then saw a boy turn into a tiger and run into locker room change and come back. "So Tamani you comin'?" she asked the man. She would like to not have to drive there anyways.
-
Tamani nodded, checking his wrist. He looked up at T.K. and tilted his head. "Its 30 minutes till the dance should start. You should start getting ready." he said to her before turning to Ms.Beats. "And I need a new pair of underwear and a different suit. Its a formal dance, you know. So we'll go get food on our way back." he said, a silly grin on his face. he was obviously joking, but the events that were taking place just less than 10 minutes ago would make anyone pee their pants.
He held out his arm again and raised his eyebrows to invite her into his half-way embrace they were in.
"Pssssh! I can get done in a matter of minutes.", she said, putting her hands on her hips with a slight frown painted her lips. She turned to Ikitasha. "I'll be back in a moment." the girl grumbled before spinning on her heel, scooping up her bags and stomping off to the bathroom.
She pushed open the door and ducked into a stall before quickly getting into her dress that she wanted to wear so badly. She stepped out and glanced at herself in the mirror and grinned madly. She looked pretty good.
Opening the box with her mask and some other things that would make a girl feel pretty, she quickly covered up a pimple or two and slipped some gold tinted contacts on, and then slid the mask over her face.
The mask was an ornate gold colored mask with little vine designs that swirled around her eyes. It was a half mask, only covering up her good eye and her hair was swept up out of her face.
Her dress was a soft lavender color with gold threading and little designs. It looked very much like it had a corset on it, the fabric forcing her to suck in any fat she may of had on her stomach. It came down just past her knees and it was hemmed with a gold ribbon. Her shoes were clad with gold colored slippers and they made no sound as she left the girl's bathroom.
-
She took his hand and was glad to walk with him. "Which car are we taking?" she asked. She wanted to know to lead him to her car or him lead her to his, if he has one that is. She didn't quite understand why the little girl named T.K. spun on her heels so much. She always thought spinning on your heels would wear at the heel and break it possibly or that it could cause problems with the heel, but she stopped before she got too in depth of it. Besides, it isn't like it was any of her business or anything that she could change. Still, it intrigued her.
-
"You do know that you don't need all that to make yourself look pretty" he said as he followed T.K. from the girls bathroom. Of course he wasn't in the bathroom he was standing outside to see what the finished product was. He walked T.K. to the door and pushed the door open for her. A breeze kicked up just as he opened the door so his hair was swept back and he smiled at her from the side. He had on a black tuxedo and a purple tie. He had on regular black dress shoes that looks like they have just been shined. And he had on black socks. He thought not to make it too flashy. His mask was already on and it was just a simple white mask that was colored with black stripes making him look like his favorite cat the snow tiger. He watched as T.K. walked out the door and he got back to work with the decorations. After all who doesn't have something to do right before the biggest dance of their life? Of course all Ikitasha did was just stare at T.K.
-
"Can we walk? It's such a beautiful day outside." he said quietly, sighing as they left the Dance Hall. A wall of fresh air hit his face, and he knew that his decision was well made. The air was crisp and nice, a light autumn breeze kindly swaying about them. He sighed and leaned his head back to look up at the sky, seeing it face from a dark blue to a bright yellow.
-
T.K. blushed lightly and bit on her lip. She grinned lightly and shrugged her shoulders. "Ah, but its that look on your face that makes it all worth while." she said with a chuckle before gliding over to where she once sat. She grabbed the bags and walked over to where the DJ was. She held it up and the young man nodded, taking it from her and putting it under the stage for her.
She spun around and skipped over to Ikitasha with a grin on her face. "Now stop staring and get to work." she said putting her hands on her hips.
-
"Sure, I don't mind if we walk. Just as long as it isn't too dangerously far. Wouldn't want to drop the food haha," she lightly laughed at her statement. "But, we also don't want to be late. That would be upsetting," she said. She hasn't been to a party in too long due to the fact she has ran away for the past few years.
-
"Yes ma'am" Ikitasha said as he got back to work with the decorations. He hanged the rest of the streamers and then he got an idea. He changed into a Lion and he ran up to the wall and then he jumped onto the wall. He got up it quite a bit and grabbed the end of the streamers with his jaws and slashed it with his claws. It made a shredding effect as to where he wont have to do it with scissors. He did this for about 5 minutes then the glowing lights came back. He sprinted to the boys room before he changed back. He got changed again and picked up the shreds of streamers."Here you go T.K. confetti." he said and tilted his head with a smile.
-
"Target aquired" Cassie said as she looked from the roof of a building that was adjacent from what she knew was the Dance Headquarters for the students of Alota Days High. She watched through her binoculars at the boy who mysteriously changed from a boy to a lion and back again."That's him Jack. That has to be." she said as she turned to her pet cat Jack. Jack meowed in reply as he tried to look through the binoculars. " Stupid cat" she said as she took the binoculars to have a second look at the boy. "Better get a second look" she said outloud to no one inperticular. She got up and headed down the roof access stairs.
-
Anaya blushed as his lips brushed the back of her neck, making her shiver lightly. She pulled her lip from under her teeth and nodded before closing her eyes.
Feeling very self-conscious, she sighed softly, allowing the faint breath to escape her lips almost silently. With her eyes shut, she felt even more vulnerable, but she was with him, so she knew she was going to be fine.
Unintentionally, she leaned her head back against Edge's chest, and smiled lightly. She was unsure of what was going to happen next, but the calmness in his voice allowed her to relax some. .
-
T.K. looked up at the falling shreds of streamers fall around her. She grinned at the young man with a nod. The paper was a good idea, but it would only mean more of a mess to clean up later.
"That means you gotta sweep when this is all over." she said, a playful lilt to her voice. She skipped around the room, realizing that there was nothing else to be done. A few people from the school started wandering in, mostly teachers and a few students. She checked them all for masks, and suddenly she felt very strange.
Her scar was very prominant against her pale skin, and it stood out like a sore thumb. She felt very different, as if she weren't her usual self.
-
"Oh... right..."he said with a jolt. He felt strange. As if something was watching him and suddenly he turned around to look at the building adjacent to the dancing headquarters. He saw something move at the top of it and it kind of scared him. He wanted to tell T.K. but then he ignored the idea. The last thing she needed is to worry about something that was so small. So he just got the broom and dust pan ready and somewhere that he would find it."Wow jack that was too close" she said to the cat next to her. She got down the stairs quickly and quick changed from her urban camo to a dress that was navy blue. She loved navy blue. She put on a golden mask with emerald outlining. Real emerald at that. She walked out the door to the building and walked to the dancing headquarters. She walked to where a girl was standing and waved hello. She showed her I.D. to the girl then walked inside. Of course her I.D. was fake. She looked for Ikitasha and easely found him. He was the only one with silvery hair. He had the same silvery hair as he did and she ran her hand through her hair. She walked to the girls restroom and starting to set up her equipment. She had some camera's. Of course wireless camaras someone would notice if there were mysterious wires around the place. She had finished setting up the area and now she could see the entire open area of the building. Its just in case someone had followed her. She kept her consealed glock close to her.
-
Anaya shivered as the cold metal touched her neck. Her body was being turned to the warmth that she recognized very well. Edge's lips were enticing her to cling onto him. With a slight sigh as he pulled away, she opened her eyes and stared up at Edge.
Her arms wrapped around him, and a smirk tinted her lips. She stood on the tips of her toes and kissed him once more, a little bit deeper then before. What had come over her was the very question that was on her mind, but it was interesting.
She then pulled away and wrapped her arms tightly around the young man, a silly grin on her face. She looked down and saw the key, her eyes widening some. Picking it up with one of her hands that she freed from his back, she stared at it.
"Oh my... Its beautiful..." she whispered.
-
"It is not a long walk. We can pick up the food on the way back." they turned a corner and the apartment complex was right there. He grinned and looked down at the woman. "See?" he teased, wrapped an arm tightly around her shoulders.
-
"Oh, Stop it," she said as she playfully slapped his chest and laughed. As she stopped laughing she said, "I really like being around you. You make me feel safe and secure. You make me smile. You are all around a nice guy. Are you currently in a relationship?" she asked.
-
"I am not. Are you hinting at something, Ms. Beats?" he asked, a little sparkle of mischievousness glint dancing around in his eyes. He looked down at her with a smirk and tilted his head towards her.
"I'm glad you have a bit of an interest in me, Ms.Beats, because I am very intrigued by you." he said, looking back forward.
-
"Really? I didn't think you thought much of me. So, do you wanna maybe be more than friends?" She asked real shyly. She had never thought he had liked her. She thought they were just mere friends which she didn't even think that was even completely true, seeing as they had just met about one to two hours ago.
-
Anaya couldn't help but smile at the poetic gesture that Edge had made. Her heart did a little dance in her chest as she reached up again and kissed him on the cheek. Its just as if he knows exactly what to say... Is there such a thing as perfection? If not, he is the best a girl can get. she thought.
"I-... Wow... Edge, thank you... Its just so beautiful..." she said quietly, her fumbling for words part of her being in awe. She had never gotten a gift like this from a boyfriend- but then again, the last time she had loved someone was when she lived in the hospital.
-
"If that is what you want." he said, real gentleman-like. He kept his gaze on their destination. They were there in a matter of moments and soon they were in the elevator.
"May I say it once again? You are amazingly unbelievable." he said, his voice resounding with truthfulness. He had thought the woman was amazing, and it just astounded him of all that she could do. Not many people could fend off a creepy ex-boyfriend that wanted to kill them, but this girl could do it.
-
"Really?" she said really slowly. "I..I..I," she couldn't say it so instead she gave him a great kiss. She loved the way his lips felt on hers. She backed off and kinda couldn't believe what she had just done. She hoped he would react positively and not become freaked out.
-
Tamani was pleasantly surprised by Ms.Beats reaction, even though it was a surprise. His reaction though was more of the silent type and the expression on his face was very much surprised. Never had a woman done that to him before, but it was nice. A bit funny, but nice.
Slowly, a grin crossed his lips and he lowered his face down to her's, just centimeters away. The grin transformed into a smirk of some sort and he placed a kiss on her nose.
"Amazing." he said as he looked forward at the opening doors of the elevator.
-
She giggled a bit at the kiss she got. "Thank you," she said. She continued to follow him to their destination. She loved him in all ways.
-
"Look people are coming!" Ikitasha said as he pointed to the people walking in. He wanted to turn into a cute kitten but he couldn't cause he would get expelled. He controlled hid earge to turn into a kitten and then he walked over to T.K. to greet the people that are coming in.Cassie stopped and turned around as she saw Ikitasha walk towards her. She wanted to keep her identity hidden until the right moment. She walked away and checked her phone witch had the Camera's sight on it.
-
Tamani chuckled. "Well, I'm going to go get ready for the dance. Can I meet you out here in say," he checked his watch. "15 minutes?" Most people could get ready in that much time, but who knew how long it took her. He leaned against his apartment door and crossed his arms.
-
T.K. looped her arm in Ikitasha's and introduced him to some of the people she knew. She engaged in polite conversation, pretending to be someone that was the opposite of her. She was a surprisingly good actress and was able to get people to think that she wasn't T.K.. No one had known about her scars and it was merely there- a characteristic people didn't think belonged to her.
When they were away from a crowd, she looked at the young man beside her. "Please call me Teresa while we are here..." she said quietly. Music began to fill the air and the Dance Hall had began to come alive.
-
"Sure, What is the theme exactly? I'd like to dress up too. I don't take too long though," she asked. She also wanted to see the damage on her apartment. She knew she might have a outfit for "almost" anything. She didn't want to be the one left out and not dressed up.
-
"Its a formal masquerade, love." he said, putting his mask to his face. He smiled before opening the door with his open hand and slipping into his room. He closed the door quietly behind him.
With a soft sigh, he pulled the mask from his face and went into his room, needing to grab a new suit. There were stains and a few holes in his jacket from the explosion and it was not appropriate for the dance. He quickly changed, sliding the jacket on top of a new dress shirt. He had fixed his hair in the mirror and looked as if he hadn't been through all that he had been earlier.
He stepped out of the door and checked his watch. He had a few minutes to spare, so he smoothed a hand over his face. Did I just... I just did... Damn it... he thought a bit tiredly. He had gotten himself into another relationship, but when he was around her, he forgot about the past.

"What ever you say Teres-" he said as he got cut off when someone slammed into him from the side. He turned around and put a arm down to the floor so he didn't slam into it. Another display of his excellent reflexs. He looked at the person that was holding onto him. She looked almost exactly like he did."Ikitasha I have finally found you my brother!!!" Cassie squealed as she ran into him. She held him tightly as tears began to roll down her face. She started to cry. She hasn't seen her brother in many years nor held him in her arms. This was almost blissful. She never wanted to let go but Ikitasha was pushing her away like she was some mad woman."NO YOU CANT BE I DON'T HAVE A SISTER!" he yelled. He tried not to make a scene of this but it couldn't be helped at this time. He pushed her away so they could get up but her grip was like iron. He couldn't push her away no matter how hard he tried. So he decided to just let her stay there for as long as she needed to.
