The concept for this thread was originally thought up shortly after my arrival to this site over a year ago. I was having a grand ol' time running from roleplay to roleplay, posting, brainstorming and all that jazz. But I realized I needed somewhere to just sit back and relax - somewhere where I could just rest my head for a while and enjoy some chit-chat. So here we are.

Since then, STRYH has been a bumpin' hot spot, a quiet whisper, lost, found and recreated. It's been through a lot for such a little thread, but it's all thanks to the many faces have come and gone, each adding their own little magic spark to this stress free hangout.

Schiz's Rules:

Follow the rules of WTF, obviously! No debating, fighting, trolling or harassment of any kind! I know this is explained in the site rules but I am going to be extra strict in here. This is a safe haven, and should remain that way. This is a no hassle zone. Leave your issues at the door. Don't go lookin' for a fight. No NSFW and/or adult content! No site complaints here, there are other threads designed for that kind of talk. This is my thread, and if you become someone that repeatedly causes problems or break the rules of my thread, you will be black listed.

Ah! Thanks! It was the one I told you I worked really hard on. Even though... it's really easy and simple, it's an achievement for someone like me who can't make banners for crap.

Oh, and just in case anyone didn't know...

I've been on vacation since the 11th so that is why I've been missing from the site! I didn't have time to do much tonight since I didn't get home until around 10 PM and I have to go to sleep like... right now because I have work in the morning. BUT! I will be making up for it this week, and will begin hovering on the site for hours on end tomorrow when I get home from work. See you then~.

It's been a productive day for me too. Well, I'm at work so I should be anyway but I've been really eager to get things done and make up for lost time. But I have to take advantage of this energy now because before I know it I'll be grasping onto a coffee cup for dear life as well. Bahaha~.

Almost outta work... Less than an hour I believe!

I'm in class right now (it's a history course about WWII) and I already want the day to be over. But I still have one more class after this (at 3:30) and... god, if only I can skip. ;________;

I got so many candies last night. So many. It's amazing. I even got a tummy ache from eating so much of it, but it was totally worth it. Now it's just a matter of not doing the same thing this morning. Candy for breakfast.... bad... right? xP

Kleptomaniac Raccoon must have had seen this carpet in the IKEA catalog in the dumpster and decided that he just HAD to have it!

I just love them. I mean... I know they are cute with a not so nice personality, but when I see the family of coons on my porch once a year I think it's the cutest thing ever. Especially the little babies.

So, anyway! How is everyone doing tonight? When I wasn't working I was raking the yard and then decorating it for the upcoming holiday. Pumpkins on the front porch, glow in the dark cobwebs going down the railings, some fake spiders and some lights going up the walkway.

Anyone else like to do that stuff?

We used to rake the leaves and make piles and carve pumpkins when I was little... great fun :3! We don't do it anymore as there is neither leaves nor pumpkins on our propriety, though :(... I miss my big maple tree, it was so pretty this time of year...

It's still "snowing" here. It's one of those, snows where the flakes come down but melt the instant they hit the ground. And it's in the drizzle phase so it's not like it's a blizzard... yet.
